DE OPENING is the free national festival marking the start of the cultural season (the successor to the Uitmarkt). Eindhoven is the host city in 2026, from August 28 to 30, 2026. For three days, the city transforms into a giant stage featuring theater, music, dance, and art.

United Cowboys is hosting DE OPENING this year and will welcome its visitors with a mix of activities in the Arthouse in the heart of Eindhoven.
