The second edition of WHAT U.C. IS WHAT YOU GET, curated by United Cowboys, will ‘invade’ the iconic Natlab Eindhoven with three evening-filling programs, in which new regional and international work will be presented to a live audience.
The project focuses on offering a sensory art experience. The audience is invited to encounter dance, music, performance, video, and fine arts in an ongoing flow. The space of Natlab will be peeled back; the main stage (Podiumzaal) will be conquered step by step.
The Thursday of this edition highlights artwork from the archive of United Cowboys. There will be a unique chance to see the iconic ‘Glass Performance’. In addition, there will be a combination of intimate performance, video, sound and installation work that has, for many decades, heavily characterized United Cowboys.
The program on Friday and Saturday features work by a new generation of artists from the Netherlands, Portugal, France, Denmark, Belgium, a.o. Various art forms will alternately take centre stage every evening, the starting point being a white canvas, from which anything can happen.
Due to the personal and intimate approach implemented by United Cowboys, the presented live art becomes more accessible and has the ability to deeply connect audiences.
The photo portrait series created by Maarten van der Put and David Galjaard will be continued.
